COLOR
PROJECT - "ROOTS" is short film comprised of abstract visual vignettes highlighting Black culture and Black excellency. The film follows the journey of Igor finding himself and reconnecting back to his ancestral roots. "ROOTS" is an homage and a nod to the African diaspora.
PROCESS - We used color to accentuate the natural environment and immerse viewers in the setting.
The process meticulously highlighted a variety of Black skin tones, ensuring their nuanced beauty was accurately reproduced and celebrated.
This careful attention to grading enhanced the superb cinematography, transforming each frame into a vibrant visual statement.
